FAQ? Background, Unique Approach

What is your background?

I have been working with professional service firms for 30 years. My legal background includes working for small and large firms in marketing and business development. I have also worked for co-marketing and technology firms. I have worked as a business development consultant for six years.

How did you get into marketing and business development for professional services?

I came into marketing just as law firms were starting legal marketing. I worked for Cummings & Lockwood in Stamford, Connecticut as their Client Services Manager. In this role I worked directly with lead attorneys for a variety of practice groups including trusts & estates, intellectual property, and commercial business.


I went on to manage a business unit within a co-marketing agency and manage marketing to strategic accounts for technology companies. 


I have focused on marketing and business development for large and small firms. My strength is reviewing firm financials with a discussion of how to balance career interests with practice profitability.

What is your approach?

As a consultant, I review firm financials to assess what services are profitable to the firm. I benchmark services to competitor firms in order to determine size of target market, profitability, and recommend targeted business development initiatives.

How are you unique?

We provide on-demand professional marketing and business development services as outsourced resources (marketing consultant, business development consultant, freelance marketing support). You avoid adding an employee and gain access to experienced marketing professionals. We perform the marketing and business development you want and need but don't have time to implement.
